OUT.com Top 50
OUT.com has released its 2nd Annual list of the 50 most powerful members of the LGBTQ community in this country. It's an interesting list that, although I'm not sure I would completely agree with (Ellen is #1), is worth a look. And here is the rest of it.

This is the first time i've even heard of OUT.com, and no i'm not in the closet, just the back woods. lol As for the top 50 I really haven't thought much about it. Guess I need to read more.
I agree that Ellen is #1, not only did she smash the mass media TV barrier; she spreads acceptance to average Americans via her TV presence, unlike Rosie who did so in the closet. I feel great pride when Ellen speaks. No gay jokes like Will and Grace, no right message/bad delivery like Rosie; plus the dignfied way she handled the Oscars, seen worldwide after 9-11 was nothing short of brillant. She gets my vote. Out has been around a long time.
