Food Riots

I had heard of a couple of these riots, but golly, no surprise that we aren't hearing crap about all of this in the MSM. Haiti, Egypt, Bangladesh, Morocco, Mexico.

Piglipstick has an impressive breakdown on them.
And here is the rest of it.

That's pretty sad, and just as sad the food prices keep going up here in the states as well, while most people's income stays the same. I know some who barely make it from month to month. I think it's outrageous that the Government doesn't take notice of what's happening and do something about it. But why should they right? They're well fed so why should they worry about the less fortunate?

Global population increases, rising energy costs, and global climate changes have led a stealthy march toward global food and water insecurity for the better part of two decades. Team those with troublesome economics and various ecological and environmental disasters-in-the-making and you have the formula for a perfect storm of human miseries. Sadly, the situation is going to get much worse before it begins to get better.

The USA can't be bothered with this, we have a "war" to win.
